About the adventure

Welcome to the world of Theros, where fantasy meets ancient Greece. This unique setting for DnD 5e features the heavy presence of a unique pantheon and a focus on player characters being great heroes like Hercules and Achilles of old. If this sounds intriguing enough to try but you aren't ready to commit yet, don't worry, this campaign is only a few fun sessions long. When you join I will send you a welcome packet with some info and we can talk about character creation. Keep in mind I emphasize roleplay and story-driven combat. I am a practiced DM but new to this platform and I am looking for a group of people who will take up a few free sessions in exchange for honest reviews of my skill. That being said please don't join unless you are committing to the schedule, dropouts and no-shows are total fun-killers. We will use Zoom to talk and share images. Should you not want to show your face that is just fine, you can keep your camera off.

How to prepare

Webcam is prefered but only a mic ability to use Zoom are necessary. Character prep is mentioned above. You can use physical dice or an online roller and keep your sheet however you want.

What I provide

I will have a welcome info packet for you explaining the Theros campaign setting. I will also have many digital handouts for you during the sessions. Any character art should be provided by you. You will probably end the campaign with some great custom memes.

Gameplay details

I avoid serious adult themes such as sexual violence or intense gore and will end any morally offensive talk at the (zoom) table. I do however often make dirty jokes and innuendos. If you are worried about triggers, just message me and we can decide if the campaign is for you.

How will character creation work

Characters will be level 10, any class or race you want. When you join I will contact you so we can work on a character idea you may already have or I can share ideas. In particular, I will help you figure out how a character would work in the Theros setting. You will be in charge of your own sheet so you can use paper or any site you want, just send me a copy.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
