Odyssey of the Dragonlords: Discover Your Epic Fate!

About the adventure

The Great War between the Immortal Titans and the Mortals of Thylea ended hundreds of years ago when the Titans swore an Oath of Peach. This ushered in a relatively peaceful period for the new races, who were able to grow in strength, buoyed by the return of their gods. The danger is not over though. The original races of Thylea and worshippers of the Titans are biding their time. The Oath of Peace was to last only 500 years and its end fast approaches. The Oracle has prophesized the end of the Oath to bring the Doom of Thylia. You, along with other heroes, have been summoned by the Oracle at their temple to set off on a quest that with the hope of saving the land.

How to prepare

Players should have a Discord account as we will be using this for voice chat. Please also make sure you have a Laptop/PC that can run FoundryVTT. They should also have a DnDBeyond account if they wish to create their character there. Though I can help them maintain their sheet on Foundry itself as well. A basic microphone would be sufficient, as long as there isn't too much background noise. Please be mindful of the other players.

What I provide

FoundryVTT tabletop software, DnDBeyond Subscription and all 5e rulebooks, 3rd Party Content, including the Odyssey of the Dragonlords adventure, Maps and semi-automated sheets for the players.

Gameplay details

We will be using X-Card during the game to make sure everyone is comfortable with the content being described. If you feel uncomfortable with any discussion, simply use the X-Card, and we will move away from that topic. No reason required. While my games are mostly PG-13 beyond some description of violence and mild cursing, you can share any themes or topics that you do not want included. Topics you do not wish to be in the game at all can be listed under Lines, and topics you do not wish to dwell on can be listed as Veils. Please share any such Lines and Veils with me directly, before a game. You can always choose to add or change something on a further date. We'll be starting off with a Session Zero. This sesson will help all of us to get to know each other a bit better as well as set expectations for the campaign. We'll also be creating characters during this session, so come with loads of ideas! It would be better if you did not come with an already made character since the game might require a character who is more lived in. You won't be charged for the Session Zero, so it is a helpful way of figuring out if you mesh with the other players.

How will character creation work

Players will create characters together during Session Zero. There are several novel additions to character creation included in the adventure which are available for the players to view in the free Player's Guide. If you are joining this game mid-way, please contact me and we can work together to make a character for you before the next session. In case there isn't enough time, you can jump in using one of the premade characters and we can create yours for future sessions.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
