NOVA: into the Dusk

About the adventure

NOVA is a rules-lite tabletop RPG in a world where the sun exploded, and humanity struggles to hold onto what little light they have left. The players will pilot exosuits, called Sparks, exploring the dark ruins of old earth, searching for the technology and knowledge that may just bring on a new dawn. Before setting off on missions, players will help generate the city around them, the stakes of each mission, and build the world they will explore in their Sparks - before facing off fearsome foes: the Corvus Dominion, a human-corvid hybrid species; the Hellions, human raiders who chose to walk away from the sun shards; Haze-Dwellers, mutated flora and fauna after the Nova event; and the Pale Path of the Lunar Cult, a new, horrifying belief worming its way into the minds of many. Suit up, install your Flares, and venture into... The Dusk.

How to prepare

Read through the Sparks pages and choose one to then mod, set up and program during character creation. Read through setting chapters (two pages total).

How will character creation work

Sparks and their pilots will be created during the session, in a collaborative narrative fashion. Spark pages, along with character sheets, will be circulated in advance to choose from.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
