About the adventure

This adventure begins at level 1 with the party shipwrecked on a deserted tropical island called the Isle of Lost Souls. If you play your cards right, you will manage to get off the island having taken possession of a dilapidated pirate ship. This leads straight into your first quest, because the pirate ship you now own is HAUNTED. So you’ll need to break the curse! By then you’ll be at level 3, and the game becomes more of a sandbox play style. You can go wherever you want once you escape the Isle of Lost Souls. Every place you go has standalone adventures, plus most places will also give you longer term quests, many of which are intertwined. There’s plenty of political intrigue! Most of the nations surrounding the Shining Sea are either at war, or are scheming against each other. Will you choose to ally with any of them... or try to remain neutral... or become a double agent, playing them off against each other for your own benefit? Also, the entire area is under the threat of a loose conglomerate of pirates who call themselves the Noose of the Black Skull. Its leader is an infamous human pirate named Isabella, who has her hand in lots of different criminal syndicates, smuggling schemes, and thieves guilds in cities adjacent to the coast. You can decide to become a member of the Noose, or you can be its bitter rival.

How to prepare

Characters are Level 6. You just need Discord. You can create your character on Dndbeyond using my shared sources. DM will assist with character creation if required.

Gameplay details

This is an 18+ game and mature themes will come up. However, there will be no extreme gore or detailed sexuality.

How will character creation work

Characters start at level 1. Point Buy method for ability scores. Forgotten Realms races only. One non-combatant pet or animal companion is allowed per player.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
