About the adventure

An all-seeing oracle by the name of Mythara has appeared from parts unknown and offers adventurers protection, fortune, and fame. All they need do is agree to her terms and pledge their loyalty and service. In exchange, Mythara shall provide the locations of hidden dungeons, ancient ruins, and sinister labyrinths, each brimming with riches and magic relics alike. For any who might scoff at such pledges, Mythara promises more than enough to compensate for their troubles. As adventurers prove themselves worthy, Mythara will give the most esteemed heroes the locations of even more dangerous ruins. This is not for the weak of will, as many who have delved into these places have never returned. Rumors abound of a curse that hides deep within some of these locations: an affliction that drives people to seek dark powers in a desperate attempt for a cure. These victims of madness tend to wreak havoc across Faerun.

How to prepare

A microphone is mandatory, and a webcam is highly recommended. Character creation will take place in a shared DnDBeyond campaign with Content Sharing Enabled. Please download the Beyond20 Extension for Chrome to connect your DnDBeyond sheet to Foundry. Foundry is a very straightforward VTT, and DM Donovan will give a quick overview as needed in the early minutes of each session.

Our Professional DMs bring a wealth of 5th Edition knowledge, all necessary sourcebook material, and assets for the Virtual Tabletop.

How will character creation work

Character Generation: Characters will be created within a DnDBeyond Campaign link that will be shared with players upon application approval. Please make sure to sign up a minimum of one-hour before the session so that you have adequate time to create your character. • Style: DM Donovan will serve up special challenges from week to week, some of which may be on the higher end of the difficulty scale. Come prepared to engage in a good balance of tactical combat, traps, and puzzles. • Starting Level: Characters will begin at Level 1 and sessions will increase in Level and difficulty throughout the course of the drop-in campaign. • Fixed HP. • Standard Array ability scores. • Feats are welcome. • All published materials are allowed. No UA or Homebrew. • Tasha's Optional Rules are… well… optional. • Custom Lineage and Backgrounds allowed.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
