Next-Level D&D Presents: "RanD&D"

Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Foundry VTT, Roll20

Dungeons & Dragons 5e

Foundry VTT

About the adventure

This is a weekly drop-in session designed for the most experienced, most confident character designers out there. Both players and the DM will enter the session blind - unaware of character levels, character classes, ability scores, magic items, or monster types involved in the challenge. The session begins with random rolls for all of these characteristics, and then the DM and the players are given 1 hour to prep for the game. Come see if your Next-Level DMs have what it takes to craft dynamic and challenging encounters at the drop of a hat, and see if you can survive the randomly generated specs. You commit to the time slot and let the clickity-clack math rocks determine the rest!

How will character creation work

Characters will be created in a shared DnDBeyond campaign with Content Sharing enabled. Because of the nature of this session, character creation will happen on the fly during the first hour of the session, after the random rolls have been made to determine level, class, and item availability.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: High
  • Roleplay: Low
  • Puzzles: Low
  • Experience Level: Advanced
