About the adventure

Yharnam, maybe you’ve heard of it? You’ve certainly heard the rumors: a metropolis completely dedicated to the application of blood. People say Yharnam’s blood cures all diseases and flows like wine, sometimes even exchanged as a gift or given freely just in greeting. Refined in the strangest of ways to create something akin to a drug. Far more intoxicating than the strongest alcohol and far more beneficial, the stories of Yharnham’s blood have spread far beyond their borders. So far, in fact, they have reached even your ears. You, who are afflicted by a life-threatening disease, who have searched for so long and so far for someone who could save you. You were just about to give up. Resign to your fate. Weakened and destitute, you had almost given in to hopelessness. That is, until you heard of Yharnam’s blood. You flew to it, like a moth to a flame, putting everything at risk once again, for just a taste of a full life. Then they gave it to you. The blood which flows through their streets. They let you drink your fill, and you knew right then, you were saved. Everything changed once you experienced that bittersweet taste of Yharnam’s veins. The crimson ran down your chin, and you licked the bottle clean. They laughed and rejoiced as you drank and drank from their overflowing hands. Even now, cured of your affliction, your mouth waters for another taste - another taste of the raw emotion you felt as Yharnam’s blood flowed through you, killing the disease, cornering it, slaughtering it, harvesting its remains to strengthen your body. You thought it was given freely. You thought Yharnam only wished to see the world benefit from its crimson elixir being handed down from generation to generation and soon to the rest of the outsiders. No one would perish from disease, and everyone could live a carefree life with their loved ones without so much as the cold attacking their bodies. But now, you stand before the Hunters. A debt chained around your neck, almost as heavy as the cancer you once had. The blood was not free. Yharnam’s Grace was not free. It had a price, and now a man they call Gherman looks you over. Judging your healthy body, he presses a saw-toothed cleaver into your hands and smiles; “You’ll make a fine slayer of beasts.” This campaign takes place in the world of Bloodborne. Join Gherman and the rest of the first hunters as they attempt to prevent the populace from learning of the Scourge of Beasts: a plague which twists humans into unnatural creatures of pure hunger and ferocity. This campaign is a unique interpretation of the events and history of Bloodborne the video game. It begins as a prequel to the story in Bloodborne and carries into the actual events of the videogame. If you’ve ever wanted to change the fates of the citizens of Yharnam for the better, or destroy what plagues them before it ever happens, you can attempt such a feat within this 5E campaign, which will feature unique rules meant to replicate the abilities of the Hunters and fully immerse you within the Eldritch Horror of Bloodborne.

How to prepare

A basic understanding of the rules is always helpful, but our professional DMs will guide you through each and every step. No experience is necessary. We're even available to help you create your character on DnDBeyond and link to the campaign in Foundry.

What I provide

Our DM will provide access to Foundry, a dedicated DnDBeyond campaign with Content Sharing, and a GoogleMeet link used for group voice chat during the game.

How will character creation work

Characters will begin at 1st level and will have the opportunity to advance as they complete missions. Character creation will be completed in a dedicated DnDBeyond campaign group with content sharing made available by Next-Level D&D.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
