About the adventure

Legends walk the lands of Theros, a realm shaped by deities and the deeds of heroes. From the temples of omen-speaking oracles to the five realms of the Underworld, the champions of the gods vie for immortal favor and a place among the world’s living myths. Choose a supernatural gift that sets you on the path of destiny, align yourself with one of Theros’s fifteen gods, then carve a tale of odysseys and ordeals across the domains of mortals, gods, and the dead. What legends will you challenge—mighty heroes, inevitable prophecies, or titans imprisoned by the gods? Where will destiny and immortal schemes lead you? And what tales will you leave behind, celebrated in the pantheon of myths and writ among the eternal stars? About the DM: I'll be pulling a lot from the Theros source book but I like to add my own flourishes so a lot of quests/monsters/characters will be homebrew or might change based on player's backgrounds or interactions with the world. I highly value immersion and improvisation and I do my best to make players feel like they're inhabiting another world.

How to prepare

Players will need a working microphone, access to Astral and Discord, and to have created a level one D&D 5E character sheet.

What I provide

I will be creating battle maps in Astral and using Astral for dice rolls. I may incorporate some homebrew elements here and there, but will be pulling mainly from "Mythic Odysseys of Theros."

Gameplay details

I will be drawing mainly from the source book, but I don't expect any unexpectedly uncomfortable topics to come up. That being said, DND worlds usually have some emphasis on violence, have societies that sometimes keep slaves, and have mind control magic. If any of these subjects comes up and you're not comfortable with it, I'm happy to alter the story and remove them.

How will character creation work

I will provide players with a bit of prep information to inform character creation using Mythic Odysseys of Theros as a guideline. I would like players to consider Theros-specific races for their characters and will help them incorporate their character's patron god and piety system. DNDBeyond.com is the easiest method to create a character sheet and share it with me, although as long as you can send a link to a legible character sheet I don't mind the format. Players may use standard array or point buy for stats.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
