About the adventure

You face execution for heretical theft but a masked Seer, a Courtier of the Shadow King, offered you a chance at life. The King’s one true heir, his son Aldon, is missing. Get him back discreetly and wealth, life and freedom will be yours. It’s believed Aldon is imprisoned in an infamous underground locale, a place no free man would willingly go, a place called The Accursed Den. This is a one-shot to introduce people to the MÖRK BORG system and world. It's a wicked little dungeon crawl full of weirdness and horror called "Rotblack Sludge." With pre-generated characters and a rules-light system, we'll get into the action fast! This is a premium virtual tabletop experience delivered via Foundry VTT, with a professional map, dynamic lighting and vision, ambient music and sound, illustrated handouts, and virtual dice.

How to prepare

Gameplay details

We have a presession introduction, do a quick rules overview and then jump into the action! We will have a post-session discussion where we can decompress, chat about the big moments, and discuss the adventure. I play with Open Door and there will be a mid-session break and more if called for by the group at anytime.

How will character creation work

I will have a roster of pre-mades to choose from, and new characters can be made with the press of a button. MÖRK BORG is a deadly world, and players can expect their characters to fall to some terrible fate! Backups will be available from the roster and new characters will be brought back into the action fast.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
