Mothership One Shot: Alone in the Dark

About the adventure

Aboard the exploration submersible the Rimor-9 exploring and surveying deep beneath the subglacial oceans of Jupiter's moon Europa. After a week at sea collecting symbols and mapping the ocean below, the crew returns to Unity Station on the surface. It is on this return that things begin to go wrong, trouble in the engine room? Someone has to investigate ? What's the worst that could happen alone in an alien sea billions of miles from Earth? Beginner friendly game, Sci-fi Horror, Mothership can be a lethal game so be prepared for the possibility of character death. Pregens and cheat sheets available.

How to prepare

A microphone and a reliable internet connection are required. It would be appreciated if the players could review the cheat sheet but familiarity with the Mothership v1.0 is not required and there will be time to go over the rules. Pregens are available, if a character sheet is made independently it should conform to character creation rules and be shared ahead of time with the GM. What I provide

I use a soundtrack as well as custom maps (where applicable) during game play. Provide a colorful cast of voiced NPCs and sound effects. Pregen characters pdf sheets are available. dice roller provided for on the custom discord server created specifically for the adventure.

Gameplay details

We start off with a short pre game session 0 where we discuss any potential issue with both the system and the content (note that possession/mind control and character death are a constant in this module) If you are having an issue with the content of the game, please use a DM in discord. the game will be largely audio on discord, though some visuals may be used on owlbear rodeo. Post game discussion of game play and any issues or concerns that may arise from play will be available, both as a group and private through DMs after

How will character creation work

Can be done on form fillable pdfs, via the Mothership creation app, or players can use on of the available pregens posted on the discord. Those who would like to create their own PC must be able to share it with me prior to game play preferably 24 hours ahead of time

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
