About the adventure

When the world of Mork Borg was but water, dust, and clouds thick with flies - came SHE. SHE who would shape the world with her dreams and curse it with her spawn, killing, dooming it with creation. SHE was the first of the Two-Headed Basilisks, the Mother of Horrors. SHE crawled from the Bergen Chrypt and there SHE birthed her spawn. SHE hurled them from the cliffs and they died over and over - body and soul, lost. Until HE was born. HE thrown from the cliffs, did not die but survived there - in the Valley of the Unfortunate Undead. His eyes stay locked on the peak above, HE spits out curses upon his vile mother, SHE. HE, like SHE, is of two heads. The head called Gorgh is bitter, rank with envy for his twin. The head called Verhu is know to all and speaker the damned truth. For this truth he demands gold, temples, and worship and all people give unto him for this truth. Only one has seen a Two Headed Basilisk. Anuk Schleger found HE and spoke with Verhu for many days, long, long ago. From these words he brought the people THE NAMELESS SCRIPTURE. The WORD OF VERHU is the only WORD, the only SCRIPTURE - for ALL of VEHU’S WORDS HAVE COME TO PASS. You face execution for heretical theft but a masked Seer, a Courtier of the Shadow King, offered you a chance at life. The King’s one true heir, his son Aldon, is missing. Without an heir the Shadow King will eventually be forced to hand his crown to his imbecile brother. Get him back discreetly and wealth, life and freedom will be yours. It’s believed Aldon is imprisoned in an infamous underground locale, a place no free man would willingly go, a place called The Accursed Den.

How to prepare

You need an Internet connection. You need a mic. You may use a web cam if you wish. You need a Discord Account. You need a Forge Account.

What I provide

I will bring a fully digital experience similar to a 2D dungeon crawling RPG video game. This includes maps, templates, some animated effects, music, etc. You do not need to know how to play ahead of time but if you haven't played before let me know and I will help guide and teach you as we go.

Gameplay details

Mork Borg is a rules-lite old-scgool style RPG. There is very little in terms of minutiae so while anything is possible there is far less to consider in “how” it happens. So you can both get away with more here and not. Mork Borg is not a high fantasy RPG. The characters are more like normal people. Magic exists but is hard to understand and dangerous to use. Mork Borg is a dark and gritty setting. The world is damned and so are the people in it. heretical lore and dark magic abound. Mork Borg is not friendly. Mork Borg will try to kill the entire party with a trap or in a minor encounter.
