About the adventure

Balin is slain, the Eastern Gate is taken, Oin has been devoured by the Watcher in the Water. The drums have not stopped, they are all around us, they are coming... Join Balin's Colony in their final moments in Moria before they fall to Sauron's Orcs. You start the night trapped with the dwarves in The 21st Hall and the Chamber of Records. They have a audacious plan to break out. Can you survive the night? Using the Lord of the Rings Adventure Game ruleset, this night in the Mines of Moria will allow you to shoot like Legolas, hack like Gimli or smash like Sam. The rules are simplistic for new players to grasp but robust enough for seasoned players. There is some room for role play along the way but this night is about survival. Can you escape my Moria Murder Gauntlet?

Additional Details

How to prepare

Mic is required, webcam encouraged but not mandatory. This game only requires 2d6 to play, and the VTT has a built in roller if you do not wish to use your own physical dice. No software is required beyond an updated web browser.

What I provide

This game is run on custom maps made by myself. It is an original story based on the work of JRR Tolkien as well as the Moria Supplement published by ICE.

Gameplay details

Players can expect fast paced combat using a rules light game set. Severwl Pregens will be available for selection. The game is set during the annihilation of Balin's Colony - an event where dwarven men, woman and children are killed by orcs. Most mass violence will be veiled. No onscreen child violence.

How will character creation work

Players will create their character, or select from several pregenerated character templates during a 1on1 session zero. Come with an idea of what kind of combat your character will specialize in - ranged, melee or magic. Also select from either Hobbit. Human, Elf or Dwarf before session zero.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
