About the adventure
Monster of the Week: Ghost Hunt TV takes your team of reality show Monster Hunters on quests to find and deal with supernatural events in the most chilling places your producers can find. Using Monster of the Week rules, you'll have more resources, and possibly powers, at your disposal than the average ghost-hunting reality show cast. But you'll also face real monsters, all while trying to make your TV show look like a TV show rather than showing your viewers the true darkness that lies behind the veil. Every game is different, so come for more than one!

How to prepare
You'll need a computer/phone/tablet/something and a decent mic for connecting to the internet and to Zoom. You'll also need two six-sided dice. And that's pretty much it.
What I provide
I will bring the descriptions. Loads and loads of descriptions (though you'll have a chance at doing some of that, too), plus ambient music, imagery, and ... monsters. Lots and lots of monsters.
Gameplay details
This game will contain horror, gore, and mature themes not suitable for every gamer. That said, the GM likes to keep things PG-13 to Lovecraftian-horror R-Rated. During our character creation we will also talk about, and implement, gaming safety tools such as lines, veils, and the X Card.

How will character creation work
Monster of the Week is a role-playing game based on the Powered By the Apocalypse game engine. It is rules-light with easy character creation based on 'playbooks' -- character archetypes. I'll have you pick out a playbook beforehand (one 'type' per player, so we won't have two Monstrous, or three Wronged) and then we'll work our way through character creation during the first part of the session. It is, in fact, one of the mostest funnest parts of the game, methinks.
Players can expect
- Combat/Tactics: Medium
- Roleplay: High
- Puzzles: Low
- Experience Level: None
