About the adventure

Midway City is a thriving hub city in the not so distant future of an alternate dimension's (M&M Earth-Prime) US set in what we know as Denver. A gleaming tower of excellence and innovation with a goal of connecting the world. The city will be home to many different transport stations for various means of transportation, trains, subways, light rails, airports, highways, etc. it will exist in the world along side Emerald City and Freedom City so heroes villians and powers in general are not unheard of, though there is a handful of well known heroes that for some time has watched over the City seemingly near single-handedly. At some point a Virus was released in the city, and because of the high traffic in and out of the city, quarantine protocol was put in place with very little hesitation, the city is sealed off, putting an immediate halt on the local economy at large, the Paragon guardian that kept order in the city disappeared, the police lost control, and the city began its decent into chaos. The virus was unpredictable, spread quickly and affected many people differently, some instances much more fatal than others. It wasn't long before a private organization/corporation, Zygone, stepped in with it's own militarized police to help keep order during the pandemic, while they rushed through creating a vaccine. This vaccine.. is where stuff gets interesting, the vaccine/cure given out out by Zygone has the potential to turn you into a meta human.

How to prepare

You will need Discord and a Mic, and your own copy of the rules. You will also need Fantasy Grounds, I have the Ultimate License for FG CLASSIC making it free for players, I have the Standard License for FG UNITY, which means you would need to have a license of your own as well. Roll20 can also be used if everyone really really really wants it.

Gameplay details

M&M's character creation is a point buy system which allows the players to create any hero they want from Battlesuits to Crime Fighters to Sorcerers to Insect Inspired Heroes and anything in between.
