About the adventure

You and your friends grew up in Conni - a town built around an oasis in the Tircras desert - but you're growing bored with the same old stuff... What's out there in the world beyond? Have you heard the latest tales of the traders who come up from Adarum far to the south? Or from the salt caravans from the capital city, Llangoll to the north?

Additional Details

How to prepare

You will need a mic and speakers/headphones. You do not need to read the rules in advance (but it can't hurt). There is a start up guide on the discord server which you should read. You will need a handle and a account.

What I provide

The game is set up Roll20, which provides the dice we will use. We will talk for RP and other game communication on Discord. Discord will also be used for any GM handouts that are needed.

Gameplay details

Roll20 provides digital XNO cards. There will be a regular midpoint break. All will be discussed at S0.

How will character creation work

Characters start at level 1. They are natives (or long time residents) of Conni and already know each other. Character creation will happen at Session 0. Optionally, you may meet one on one with the GM for character creation. You should think about your character in advance. Race? Human, Dwarf, and Gnome are common. Wood Elf and a kind of Orc less so. (In FTD mechanics, the Gnome follows the rules for a Halfling and the Orc those for a Dwarf) A human can be any class. A Dwarf or Orc can always be a Warrior. A Gnome can always be a Zealot. An Elf can always be a Mage or a Thief. Consider choosing a race that supports the class you want. Profession? What were you training to do before you became an adventurer? Choose any profession that would have existed in a bronze age farming community. Class? Warrior, Zealot, Mage, and Thief are the classes. They each have 3 subclasses but you don't have to choose until third level. More about this on the discord server which you'll have access to in advance.
