About the adventure

The Beasleys are retured former adventurers who have settled down in an out-of-the-way farm to raise their children. Fixing up a dilapidated old country estate they had acquired as a reward for their great deeds is the perfect, idyllic setting to raise two rambunctious children in peace and safety. Mateo Wumplethorn, their very elderly cousin wants the party to check in on the Beasleys and will pay expenses plus a fee to ensure their safety; he is fond of his cousins, and knows their former line of work may have left enemies in their wake. Do an old Halfling a favor? Your party of 4th level adventurers have gained some renown and the work around here is dull and beneath your talents. Perhaps a change of scenery is in order? Gameplay details

This game contains the following themes: Potential moderate body horror Grisly death and its evidence Paranoia and betrayal This game will establish hard Lines (things that are not discussed; ex. rape/forced sexual encounters, torture, etc.) This game has negotiable Veils (what can be inferred; romance, liaisons, grisly death, etc.) The DM will regurlarly check in with players and there are opportunities to stop play, even mid-combat, if the themes become too intense. Green/Yellow/Red flags available. MPAA rating Hard R PEGI Rating 18+

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen one hour prior to Game Start (Session 0) OR players may opt for pre-generted characters. DnD Beyond for character management & creation PHB, TCoE, and Volo's for heritage, class, feats, spells; player may purchase further customizations ala carte via DnDBeyond
