About the adventure

** This is an ongoing campaign you can still join ** May 1925, Cairo. Bureau of Unidentified Crimes is investigating a famous reasercher journalist's murder, who is also one of the founder of the bureau, Jackson Elias. His murder turned out to be a world-wide cult activity, that is highly connected to unfortunate fate of an earlier expedition, named Carlyle Expedition. A group of investigators searched for the clues and gathered vital information about the cult activity. Across New York, London, and Hong Kong. While they were in Australia, a bad accident happened, and half of the investigators disappeared. The other half needed to get back and retired. Now there's a new group, looking for the clues in their next destination: Egypt. Egypt and Kenya are key points of their search. Key points for the fate of humanity. Will you join them and save the world from a catastrophic end? **************** • Call of Cthulhu is a mystery/investigation game that generally sets in 1920s • Rules are easy to learn, and I, Keeper of the arcane lore, will help you out during the game, so all you have to do is create a personality and roleplay • This is a weekly, and ongoing game. But you can join this game anytime! I will briefly summarize everything you missed, so, you will feel like you've always been with the core group • I can provide you a ready-to-use character, but I encourage my players to create their own characters • This adventure will take you from New York, to England, China, Australia, Egypt and Kenya. Right now, the group is in Egypt and there's Kenya left. There will be lots of danger and hidden knowledge waiting for to be found!

How to prepare

There is no any requirement to be prepared. But I have three suggestions: • Try not to focus on game mechanics. • You can read some Lovecraft stories, or watch some 1920s mystery movies.

Gameplay details

This is an ongoing game, so, we're looking for constant attendees. Don't worry about the rules, I will cover everything. All you have to do is roleplaying, taking notes, asking questions, and praying to RNG gods to help you out with skill tests. There will be a summarize of events you missed, and hooks are ready, so it's easy to include you into the action.

How will character creation work

If you can reach me out like at least an hour before the game starts, we can create your character and handle the information part. If you want to use a pre-generated character, I will give you some occupation options. But still, we will need to do the information part. So, you will need to give an hour of free time to close the gaps.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
