About the adventure

The adventurers(Level 10) are hired by the local authorities of Grandorville to investigate a mysterious mansion that has suddenly appeared on the outskirts of the town. One week ago a Flameskull came into town and gave the worst message any town could hear. “My Lord Elnor is a powerful lich who is known for his love of entertaining himself by pitting adventurers against his undead minions. My Lord demands entertainment, send us your strongest as entertainment for my Lord. If they provide a sufficient show my Lord assures that he will not destroy your lands and your people. Please send us your sacrifices as quickly as possible, you have one month before your demise and please make sure they arrive slightly before midnight, my Lord is not a fan of the Sun. Thank you for your time.” The Flameskull disappears into self as though it imploded, its words ring through the town leaving them in shock. The mightiest of the townguard are sent to deal with the threat but none return. Afterwards the town sent out word for adventurers to fight, and prepared several items to help them fight the undead. Once you enter the town you are quickly escorted by a townguard to meet with the mayor. Please roll for initiative to see the order of your arrival. As the players arrive at the mayor he explains the situation to each of you and leads to the next room in which you will find everyone who arrived before you as well as some attendants and items laid out on the table. The mayor explains that the town has already lost many resources but has managed to gather several items for the party and while they are sure you will resolve the issue that they have and there is another party arriving tomorrow so please limit yourself to one rare item, 2 uncommon items, and 2 potions of greater healing. As the party arrives the mayor will introduce the party members to each other along with the area of expertise.
