    About the adventure

The world is wasting away, deserts creeping and choking all life across this one pristine world called Theylemore. The richest live within spires at the highest point of the remaining spire cities, hopelessly addicted to the magic they pull from this lapsing world. The middle class fueling an endless machine of production and power with the working class forced underground to never see the light of day, digging out the last remnants of ore to continue fueling this beast of a city. Lost Relics is based on a sci-fi and fantasy mixed world. The world itself is a mixture of Post Apocalyptic themes with a general theme of finding, exploring and discovering ancient secrets buried beneath the sands of the world. This will use D&D 5E with some flavorful tweaks to fit into the world as a whole. Your character will matter, backstories will come into effect. This is a heavy roleplay-based setting with choices and clear consequences. Lore ~ World The world is in a state of disrepair, much of it covered by a vast expanse of desert that seems to choke out all life and matter, dragging below structures and civilization below. The few remaining bastions of life remain in valleys, mountains and hills at the vast north and south areas, guilds of mages attempt to keep the sands from reclaiming even more territory though mostly struggle with each over the last remnants of power, magic and technology that remain in the wastes. Most common folk live in dangerous territory's which are under attack by arcane constructs that seem to rise from the sandy wastes, the rich live in the large capital city without regard for those under them as they play each other for power and intrigue. Systems ~ Character Building We will be using D&D Beyond to make characters while using Roll20 for some maps with theater of mind for the rest of the battles. The campaign is going to be lighter on the combat with more time spend on exploration, combat and world building.
