Lost Mines of Phandelver (BEGINNERS WELCOME)

About the adventure

Welcome all! From seasoned adventurers to those just starting their journey into the madness that is D&D! Whether you’re looking to learn the ropes, or just go on a kickass adventure, Lost Mines of Phandelver is the adventure for you! In this campaign you will will be dropped into the small village of Phandalin, on the sword coast. From there you will explore a vast land filled with adventure, dangerous foes, and intriguing characters. Each session will include at the least one combat encounter, and possibly more depending on how much roleplay the party would like to delve into! (If you aren’t sure how to play, don’t worry! I’ll teach you! There is no pressure at my table!)

How to prepare

All players should be prepared with accounts on D&D beyond, discord, and Roll 20, and must download the beyond 20 extension to their browser. (If help is needed, I can assist on session 0). Players should also have a working mic that we can hear you clearly on, reliable signal, minimal, to no background noise, and minimal to no distractions. Lastly, players should bring some sort of way to take notes!

What I provide

I bring with me the Lost mines module, custom maps, my entire d&d beyond library (shareable to you), a winning personality, and much more.

Gameplay details

Session zero will be held before the start dates, individually, and on your own time. (IT IS UP TO YOU TO CONTACT ME AND SCHEDULE YOUR SESSION ZERO). During session zero, we will discuss your character, roll your stats, go over your expectations for the game, and sign “no bullying, or harassment agreement”. This (in total) should take around 25-45 minutes! On the first, and every 3 sessions, aftercare, and a small optional survey will be given to players to discuss their level of satisfaction, and whether anything should be changed, or stay the same!

How will character creation work

Character creation will be handled on session zero! You are expected to be prepared on session zero with a D&D beyond account, a general outline of a character backstory, and character art for said character!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
