LOST MINE OF PHANDELVER

About the adventure

Gundren Rockseeker has a job for you. He needs you to escort a wagon from Neverwinter to Phandalin. You will be paid 10 gold pieces upon arrival. Gundren recently found a cave that he wants to mine in to see if he can find something to make him rich. He's not a bad friend to have right now. So gather your things and let's go to Phandalin. But beware, the road is not easy. Goblins have attacked a few caravans and it may happen the same to you. I mean, you didn't think it would be easy, right? Otherwise, Gundren would have offered less money. This is one of the official modules that everyone considers to be for beginners. It has a very good balance between combat, exploration and role playing.

How to prepare

You will need to have a decent mic and if the group agrees to play with cameras on, that as well. But that will be decided on Session 0. You will need and account in https://forge-vtt.com/ which is where I host the game from Foundry VTT. You do not need to read the rules, or have a character ready. If you want, great! But I will guide you through all you need.

What I provide

The game will be online. I will give you maps you need to have on our Discord. The Virtual Table Top I use has dice, music, whatever you need. We can create your mini on Hero Forge and use that design as a token. If you draw and have your own character art, great!

Gameplay details

The heaviest thing my games have is a little bit of gore in the descriptions in-combat. You can expect an environment free of whatever makes you uncomfortable. We will have a session 0 that will be for free after you join, just so we can discuss if you have any subjects I should avoid. And to set expectations and whatever you'd like to discuss. We will take one 15 minutes break at some point in the middle of the session and will not count towards the time you're paying to play. How will character creation work

We will start with 1st level characters. Since this is targeted to beginners, I will provide you pre-made characters so you don't have to go through all the rules. If you want to get into the meat of it, we can absolutely create one from scratch. We will roll 4d6 and drop the lowest number on Foundry VTT which has 3D dice. You can roll your stats and choose where to put your highest and lowest. Or we can start finding out about your character by rolling in order. So your first roll is your Strengthm second your Dexterity, third your Constitution. And so on. We will have one-on-one sessions before the actual game to create you character. This is for free, just to clarify.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
