Lost Mine of Phandelver

About the adventure

The campaign begins in the town of Neverwinter, on the Sword Coast of the Forgotten Realms. Gundren Rockseeker, a miner and one of the three Rockseeker brothers, is preparing to return to the frontier town of Phandalin, a few days travel to the south-east. In need of escort services for his goods, he some adventures whom he met while in town to travel with the wagon until they could deliver the goods to Bartrend's Provisions. Your pary has agreed to the job for the price of 50gp a piece. Gundren, along with his bodyguard, a human warrior named Sildar Hallwinter, set out at once to "take care of business" before the party's arrival. Together, the party set out along the highroad and eventually on to the Triboar Trail. This is where the story begins.

How to prepare

You will need a mic for voice chat ln discord. You will also web browser to access my forge link to play. I use foundry vtt for music and maps and you do not need foundry to play. You will also need a free D&D beyond account to make your character.

What I provide

I bring all source books you need to make your character. I also bring maps for visuals and music to help set the mood.

Gameplay details

This is a great first adventure for new players and each map will introduce new elements to help players learn mechanics as we go. I offer tutorials to help introduce you to the mechanics of 5e if you need them. There is also some great role-playing moments and challenging combat encounters that will entertain players of any experience level. This campaign is fairly short and will take you on an adventure spanning levels 1-6 as you attempt to solve a mystery in the sword coast. You will be starting of as aspiring adventures in the city of neverwinter. You have been completing simple quests and you have finally got your chance at a big job! Once the quest is over I have other modules that your characters can continue with if you would like to keep playing.

How will character creation work

We will be making your characters in session 0. You can use point buy or standard array. All characters will start with one free feat that ties into their backstory. This stacks with feat granting races.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
