About the adventure

People once spoke of Death as a shadow they never wished to see. A specter lurking at the edges of the light to take you away. Now they speak of Death as a long lost lover, gone away on an adventure. Someone who they wait to see crossing over the horizon to return home. The gods of old have long been lost, and a false god rises to stain the horizon with brilliant light. Death stays away, and nature unwinds itself. No living things- be they human, animal or otherwise, are crossing into the land of the dead. (Regardless of health or physical condition, nothing will die. The beginning of this campaign will discuss these themes in great detail. There will be discussions of injury and illness- lots of suffering and pain. Very heavy subject matter.) Hope seems lost- but the gods did not leave this world with no hope. Their children remain- You remain. With the blood of old power in your veins, you just may save this world from the clutches of evil. ~~~~~~~ Players will start at level 3, playing as demigods with different permanent buffs and nerfs based on which god they choose. - Heavy RP, combat as story needs - Backstory inclusion - Sandbox world - Player driven story - Milestone level ups Their will be heavy/dark subject matter in this campaign. If any player is uncomfortable with long talks about death, or heavy subject matter, this game may not be a safe fit.

How to prepare

- Discord account made - DnD beyond for character sheet - decent mic - headphones or headset - camera if comfortable - character backstory concepts - notebook or google document for session notes I highly recommend players review their google documents before sessions to see any notes left by the DM and to refresh themselves on any details- and seeing any notes about NPCS

Gameplay details

Players can expect RP heavy gameplay. We will discuss lines and veils in detail for each player. I will maintain open communication about healthy boundaries for each player at any time. My main concern is everyone feeling safe at the table.

How will character creation work

Characters will be made in session zero to allow discussion of homebrew tools being used. The characters will be starting at level 3, and each player will have access to a google document where they can keep story details for their characters.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
