About the adventure

Welcome to the World of RIFTS! This will be a introductory session to the massive world created by Palladium. Players will get a chance to create characters and then get a chance to play a bit of the game to learn some of the mechanics. We will be keeping things low-key as there is a wealth of things to explore in the RIFTs world and want to make it easy to learn.

How to prepare

As this is an online game, Players will need accounts on Discord and Roll20 (Both are free to sign up). They will also need a mic in order to play. Character sheet pdfs will be given to players and everything will be done during the session.

What I provide

I will be providing cheat sheets and guides ahead of time. With info and introductions to the various classes and the world.

Gameplay details

This will be a character creation and introductory session. The focus will be on learning how to make characters and understand some of the world and mechanics. A set list of character OCC and RCCs will be offered to make the experience less daunting.

How will character creation work

Players will be building characters from scratch from a list of recommended OCC and RCCs that will help introduce people to the system without overwhelming them. A base theme will be given and character creation can happen from there.
