About the adventure

This 4-week course will introduce participants to the wonderful world of D&D! In our initial sessions, we'll design our first characters using the fundamental 5E model, and by the conclusion, we'll know how to play in a one-shot adventure. The first session will be a complete introduction to Dungeons & Dragons. We'll go over the most crucial fundamentals before diving into character creation. We'll learn about spellcasting and how to get the most out of our equipment in sessions 2 and 3. With a Session Zero, we'll go over additional rules mechanics and get ready for our first one-shot campaign. (A Session Zero is a pre-game session in which ground rules are discussed and expectations for a forthcoming game are established!) We'll play a traditional one-shot campaign in session 4! Your intrepid hero will be ready to take on a beginner's campaign at the conclusion of the course!
