About the adventure
The adventure starts at the archaeological dig site, Mivvin's Rest. Archaeologists have discovered the ruins of a basilisk cult temple on the site and are now excavating it. The morning the adventure begins, the scholars unearthed a coffin containing the remains of a richly clothed person clutching a petrified basilisk egg. In this learn to play Dungeons and Dragons 5E session, players will spend one hour learning to create a character and four hours playing the adventure. How to prepare
You will need a mic and a Discord and Roll20 account. Optionally, a camera, a set of dice, and a way to take notes would be helpful.
What I provide
I provide a Discord server, access to the PHB on Roll20, a thorough understanding of the rules and adventure, and great improvisational skills.
Gameplay details
This adventure uses themes of cults, combat, and betrayal. We will use the X/N/O to communicate if anything lands in dicey territory.

How will character creation work
The first hour of this adventure is dedicated to learning to create a character. Before the session, players will be provided with a character creation cheat sheet that I created and a character sheet PDF. During the session, players will have access to my PDF of the Dungeons & Dragons 5E Players Handbook. While Roll20 does have a charactermancer to make character creation easier, we will walk through character creation together. Custom personality traits, ideals, bonds, and flaws are encouraged if you've got something in mind ahead of time. Default starting equipment will be used. We will not be using any books other than the Player's Handbook for this adventure.
