About the adventure

A game with newer or returning players in mind, whether that be your first campaign or otherwise. Players will be taught or refreshed on the goings-on of character creation, combat, and roleplay. As well as the usage of Roll20 through which this game will be played. Applicants must have a computer to play on. Specifically, I offer campaigns set with Lost Mines of Phandelver, Tales from the Yawning Portal, or Ghosts of Saltmarsh. Each of which I will explain the pros and cons to new players and permit the group to decide. We will have all the accommodations of Roll20, most importantly Dynamic Lighting so that you will only see what your character could see on the map. I require a one-on-one via Discord for a private conversation on personal standards, goals, playstyle, questions, concerns, etc. As well as a group session 0 for sake of coordinating character creation and a warm-up on roll20. Both of these are complimentary. Disclaimer: This is not my full-time job, and sometimes sessions may need to be postponed to later dates. I will do my best to make accommodations to supplement this and clarify the circumstances and what this means to applicants.

How to prepare

Please have a clear microphone and a stable internet connection. Sign up for Roll20, the free subscription will work fine. Have a Discord through which Voice Chat and messaging will be performed. Reading on your own time is encouraged but not required. All other amenities such as dice and sheet work are covered by Roll20.

How will character creation work

Characters will begin at level 1. Creation will occur with ideas and theory in the one-on-one and actual implementation in session 0, where players will be given advice and encouraged to build complimenting characters.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
