About the adventure

Everyone needs a little downtime and as a new adventurer you are no exception. The port city you currently call home is under attack and it may be to much for just anyone to handle. That's where you come in. Stop the attack and find the source of these ongoing raids before they can do anymore damage. This game is for new and experienced players alike. It is meant to be a fairly straight forward classic adventure with a few options that depend on the choices of the players.

How to prepare

We will be playing over discord so a mic will be needed. Character creation should be done before starting unless you are new and are unsure of how to make a character. If this is the case Please message me and I will walk you through character creation. No special software or VTT is needed. Digital dice and physical dice are both acceptable for use.

What I provide

I bring years of experience and a love of the game to the table. I have many custom maps and adventures to help bring the world to life.

Gameplay details

This one shot will be a 1st level classic investigate and dungeon crawl combo containing plenty of combat after a certain point. Any official non spelljammer D&D 5e content including non archived UA is allowed. Players choices will have some effect on the story and can effect the direction it takes either shortening or lengthening play with these choices. This adventure is meant to be a fun experience for all but do keep in mind that it does involve a good amount of combat. Effects of combat will be described but not in detail. Session 0 will consist of addressing any changes players wish to make to their characters or concerns they may have about the session. Session 0 and Debriefing will be done immediately before and after the actual campaign session and can be done one on one through discord pm if preferred over in group voice chat. In place of XNO cards I prefer an open door approach which will also be addressed in session 0. A break will happen approximately half way through the session to ensure everyone has a minute to decompress, get drinks/snack ect.

How will character creation work

Characters will begin at level one and will need to be created beforehand. I am willing to assist in the creation of characters if needed so don't hesitate to ask. Characters can be created in any form you are comfortable with including old fashion pencil and paper. -Point buy, standard array, and rolled stats are all acceptable. --I'm relying on the honor system if you chose to roll so please be honest. -Stat rolls are 4D6 keep best three, reroll 1s & 2s. --If you chose to roll stats you may mulligan the entire set once and must use the second set. -Everyone gets 1 free feat to begin with. (Varient Humans get this on top of their normal feat) -Critical hits/fails are done with cards from nord games. -Each character starts with 2 health potions and standard equipment for their class -Each character starts with 200gp

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
