About the adventure

The Kobayashi Maru is the most important test for those in Starfleet who seek to enter the command division and pursue a prized career as a Starfleet captain. This test introduces cadets to a no-win scenario, something that will often happen while in the field. Many a Starfleet captain will have to face difficult challenges, sometimes ones that have no correct solution. Come and try your hand at the famous test for Starfleet officers. How will you fare when put in an impossible situation? This games takes place during Star Trek: The Original Series era. It uses the Modiphius 2d20 system, that I will explain at the start of the adventure. There will be choice of five pregenerated characters - two humans, two Vulcans and a Tellarite.

Additional Details

How to prepare

PC with browser and microphone is needed, webcam and stable internet connection is appreciated. I will explain the rules at the start and give brief overview of the setting. Dice rolling and character sheets will be handled by Foundry VTT.

What I provide

I will bring VTT, tokens, maps and rules and sourcebooks. And also experience and hopefully fun.

Gameplay details

At at the beginning of the session , there will group discussion about individual limits and topics to avoid. During the game, I will be using the X card safety tool - writing X in chat will lead to stopping the current scene.

How will character creation work

There will be a choice of five pregenerated characters at the start of the game.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
