It has all the spine-tingling chills of watching a late-night fright flick — even better, because you’re the star of the scatterbrained massacre! Here’s your chance to abandon smart gaming like it’s The House on Haunted Hill. Leave sound judgment writhing on the ground as you work through a procession of disposable characters, senselessly follow strange noises without so much as a flashlight (“Roll your Unwise”), become inconveniently trapped in some spooky place (“Roll your Unluck”), then fall hook, line, and sickle to yet another wholesale slaughter (“Roll your Undone!”). Meet unbelievably gross critters, discover sicko surprises, experience gratuitous violence and gore, ring up the body count! You'll need a mic. No tokens are required and Roll20 is used only for dice rolling and flavor pictures.

Gameplay details

Expect goofy role-play, B-movie acting, blood and death, lots and lots of death. Players will control multiple characters and only by sacrificing some can they hope to defeat the villain(s). Pre-gens supplied. No experience necessary. Your common RPGs tend to rate characters in positive terms. You look at the sheets and they glaringly do not scream “VICTIMSSSSS!” Well, that isn’t going to fly here any better than ole King Kong did off the Empire State Building. The nature of b-flicks dictates that no character gets too much credit — if any at all. So instead, they have Inabilities: Stats that don’t tell you how well a character can do something any better than Michael Myers can deliver a keynote speech. Learn more, and embrace the cheese!

How will character creation work

Players will be assigned three to four pre-gens, many with existing relationships. These are B-movie stereotype characters with few stats. Don't worry about method acting.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
