About the adventure
Karthun was once a land of peace and prosperity. Then the release of the Worldfire and the breaking of the planes ushered in the Age of Conflict. Now, rulers wage war against the legions of the Three Demon Kings, ravenous undead horrors…and each other. Karthun needs heroes to stand against the darkness, but to be a hero in Karthun is to be a legend, for even the gods can perish here. All that awaits the fallen is the cold embrace of the Mother of the Dead. This is an original story with mostly original characters, set in the world of Karthun created by Brian Patterson.

How to prepare
At least a passing familiarity with D&D/Pathfinder rules is recommended. I use Discord for voice chat (so a mic or headest is required) and Fantasy Grounds for dice rolling, character sheets and battle maps.
What I provide
This is a custom-written campaign in a unique world, tailored to the players and the characters they create. I guarantee a story that is fun, interesting and like no other.
Gameplay details
The characters explore the world of Karthun, uncovering its secrets and growing in power. As the campaign progresses, focus will shift from dungeon-delving and monster-slaying more toward world-shaking events and politics, but the exact direction will vary based on character and player decisions.

How will character creation work
Characters will begin at 2nd level, and the process will be GM-guided and happen during the first session. I am using a set of custom traits for the campaign, and have written regional & faith traits particular to Karthun that are also available. Some PF classes are altered or even nonexistent in the setting, but most are unchanged.
