About the adventure

Nearing in on 1200 years ago, the family of Kahrdoss and their armies left their homeland of Nacyl looking to find a place where they could rule for themselves. They invaded the continent to their east, a continent inhabited by a tribal folk known as the Farbauti. They found much resistance in these natives as they had an entire pantheon of gods on their side that no one had ever heard of. The Kahrdoss family asked for help from their emperor in Nacyl to eliminate these native people they dubbed heretics. Nacyl answered, delivering a mechanical army known as the vangeared. The Grand War, lasting nearly a decade, commenced. There are many stories of this war that have been told and told again. One story remains unchanged; the day the war ended. On that day, a massive explosion erupted that shook the entire continent. The people of Nacyl claimed to have seen its light in the skies from across the sea. The blast created a colossal crater where the Farbauti capitol once resided, leaving not a single trace of any of the survivors. There is no evidence as to which side caused the explosion and each side blames the other. However, the explosion resulted in a peace treaty. The continent was split into two. East and west. The Farbauti claimed the lands to the east as their home where they worship their gods and beg forgiveness for losing their holy land. On the west side, the Kahdozian empire has raised a new and more technologically advanced society with the help of their partners in Nacyl. An agreement stood that if anyone were to pass the peace line dividing the continent, they would be marked for life and would be killed if they were ever to cross again. In recent years, the peace line has been abolished, and the Farbauti now live without fear in the empire. The east still largely remains an open frontier, with a few major Farbauti settlements scattered throughout.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Please have a webcam and mic available and have a fair understanding of 5e rules and mechanics. Characters can be created on Dndbeyond. Please have dice ready, digital or physical (physical preferred because who doesn’t like the sound of dice?)

What I provide

I will create a game in Dndbeyond for character creation and use of the books I have. (All of em) I have a variety of maps, a collection of minis and can provide mediocre illustrations of characters upon request.

Gameplay details

This game style will be based on player choice. Wether that be high role play content, combat driven or a buck wild exploration based game. This game revolves heavily around colonization themes, racism towards NPCs, pagan-like worship and deadly disease. It also includes potential drug use, graphic descriptions of gore and violence. If any of these are a problem, I ask that you don’t join. I am very understanding and will talk anything through with players if a problem develops in-game. Or take breaks if necessary.

How will character creation work

  • Roleplay: Medium
  • Puzzles: Medium
