Journey Through Q'aern

About the adventure

Become immersed in a fantasy world with eons of history, oodles of interesting characters, and piles of political drama. Hack and slash through ancient ruins and dungeons, or engage in the intrigue of the big cities! Take down the evil Thelonian empire spreading across the continent, or take part in a seafaring adventure between city-states. This is a custom homebrew setting that I have been creating for a few years now, and now I'm opening it up for you to make contributions to it in-character as well. There are endless things to find, characters to interact with, and worlds to uncover. Come one and all! An adventure through Q'aern will begin, for the first 3 levels, fairly straightforward. However, after this point, players in any given Q'aernian campaign are expected to come ready to sandbox their way through a massive and ever-growing world. All character races and classes are available, however some come with caveats (never overwhelmingly negative, only roleplay-based specifications for thematic consistency!) This game will run every wednesday, and I am open to messing around with schedules as necessary. I am LGBTQ+ friendly, I strive for maximum inclusion, and I try to keep all hateful nonsense out of my games and out of my "table." All I ask is that everyone who comes to the table comes ready to have fun, to make memories, and to explore my massive world.

How to prepare

Mic is necessary, webcam preferred but not necessary. I will provide a free session zero with 2 to 3 people at a time before the start of the campaign in order to hammer out character sheets/details, and to make sure you're ready!

What I provide

I will bring a map of my game! I am a casual artist, so I may draw cartoons of your characters throughout a game if you're lucky. :)

Gameplay details

I tailor my games to each individual group and player, however, I do tend to focus on roleplaying, combat, and puzzle encounters. Exploring usually comes second, as does politicking, but that can always be adjusted.

How will character creation work

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
