About the adventure

As ancillae Cainites, your place in the War of Princes is shifting beneath the tumultuous Tuscan soil. The mortals are in constant turmoil and the Cainites follow suit, but who is driving whom? Holy allegiances with Rome and the Holy Father or Imperial authority and the Emperor cast you with a cohort of “friends” and enemies whether you like them or not. While remaining neutral invites speculation, mistrust and whispers of heresy, treason and dark designs for power. Your home is Florence, but who’s to say your heart isn’t with the Ghibelline court of Pisa? The Archbishop runs a typically stifling and Catholic city of the night, while Pisa’s Merchant Primogeniture offers less restrictions, greater opportunity for personal power and a sense of Religious indifference that stinks vaguely of freedom.

How to prepare

You will need at least a Mic, Discord, and a Roll20 account. Your character needs to have at least a paragraph written about their kindred lives as well as a Character sheet, which will be provided. Details about your mortal past are encouraged as those entanglements are usually not completely dead.

Gameplay details

Narrative Driven Story with lots of character roleplay with a mixture of action elements and political machinations. There are scenes of violence, sexuality, and religious depictions that some players may find disturbing. How will character creation work

Character Creation will be according to the book, with restrictions on merits and flaws on a case by case basis. Clans and Bloodlines will be accepted the same way and largely depend on the player's knowledge of the game and the clan or bloodline they wish to play. Characters can be no older than 75 years combined between mortal and vampiric life. +25 XP to convey that they are a young ancilla.
