Island Resort Nightmare(Ten candles One Shot)

About the adventure

In this Ten candles experience players will play characters vacationing at the Paradise oasis Resort. With little to no contact with the outside world the resort was set to be a gateaway from normal living so no phones or technology allowed. Things were going well whether or not your characters enjoy the peace or were forced in some way to accompany family/friends the beauty of the resort is utterly breathtaking. That is untill one faithful morning as all of you were preparing for the day ahead everything went dark. Not just the lights in the hotel but the sky itselfwith the only light left being what you imagine to be stars in the sky. With the strange occurence you would expect mayhem and panic but all you get is silence.As if most if not majority of the island just simply vanished. All you can do now is try your best to investigate whats going on and maybe find out how to escape this once beautiful resort to find whats left of the world. If you are unfamilliar with ten candles the system is fairly easy to learn. Unlike other games this isnt an rpg where you fight of monsters and find a way to save the day. Although that might be what your characters attempt to do the end of this story will result in their deaths. This is a tale that has no happy ending for anyone involved but your characters dont know this so they will give it what they got to try and survive to see the next day. You as players in this game will do what you can to make their final moments mean something. I invite you all to a story of utter tragedy.

Additional Details

How to prepare

If possible players should look into ten candles just to understand how the game plays and the rules to the game to at the very least have a baseline understanding of the game. You will need a working mic and decent internet as well as a roll20 and discord account.

What I provide

I will create the roll20 to hold characters as well as a discord server so we can hold communication.

Gameplay details

This game has the potential of having alot of triggers within it. depending on the play group i will conform what is allowed within the game given the players. i will create a form to which players can declare what they do not want within the game

How will character creation work

We will create characters directly before the game starts to follow the way in which the game is generally played. i would encourage players to think of character concepts they may potentially want to play/ see in the game.

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
