How to prepare

Have a Discord account, decent mic, and decent internet connection. No webcam required, Discord is only used for voice and messaging. I will have some additional isekai world rules posted in the discord you can look over if you would like that change how to world works compared to regular d&d 5e.

Gameplay details

I will go over lines/veils, table rules, and the multiple places you can access the x,n, and o cards at the start of the session. Any questions you have for Foundry VTT or D&D if you are new can also be addressed at the start of the game or before the game starts if you would like.

How will character creation work

For the one-shot you can send me a level 3 D&D character using standard array or point buy on D&D Beyond, a pdf, or some other format before the game so I can put them into Foundry. (homebrew is usually ok as long as it isn't absurd) I can also walk you through making a character before the game happens on discord or you can choose a pre-made character that I have. If you have any character art you want for your character, sending that to me before the game would also help so I can make an animated token for you in foundry.
