Werewolf the Forsaken

About the adventure

It has been over 100 years since the Great Seattle Fire burned away a significant portion of the city. The Uratha were quick and decisive in taming the spirit and sealing the Hisil. Many of those who dealt with the spirit have passed on and the tale has been told to such a grand scale most young Uratha do not believe in such a great spirit coming back into their city. The Iron Masters have been focused on the advancement of humans and their impact on the Hisil, the Bone Shadows have tended to the spirits of the city who speak of an on coming threat, but few listen to their words. The Hunters in Darkness have seen less of the spiders and more rats which is concerning, but often is the ebb and flow of the spirits. This game is going to be a biweekly game. This game is going to be devoted to dealing with the spirits and their effect on the city, when an old and powerful spirit is starting to regain its power and upcoming those that are aligned with the Camarilla or Anarchs and how they are holding back the tide of the Sabbat from taking the city. The players may choose to participate during the off week through downtime actions. The Great Fire Spirit will be an ever present aspect of the game, but is not the only one there will still be ongoing plots and mysteries as there are in any city that is a part of the Chronicles of Darkness.

Additional Details

How to prepare

A player will need a mic, at least, webcam is not required, but encouraged, and a discord account. A player does not have to have a thorough understanding of the rules, but needs to have a bit of imagination and willing to learn the rules as we play.

What I provide

I will bring the rule book, pre-generated characters to choose from, and years of experience and knowledge of running this game line.

Gameplay details

The game will be focused on what the characters are doing and how they are handling the effects of the Great Fire Spirit. There will also be plotlines that do not directly relate to the ongoing spirit crisis, but more of what is happening in the city. If characters focus on their own personal issues or the city's it will become more present in the story. Character decisions will always have a weight on what happens in the story, even if it is not immediately seen or felt. Lines: Sexual Assault Bigotry (Cannot be done in game) Racism (Cannot be done in game) Extreme & Graphic Descriptions of Torture Veils Sexual Content (Fade to Black) Bigotry (May have elements in their backstories, with approval) Racism (May have elements in their backstories with approval) Child Abuse (May have elements in their backstories with approval) Content Warning: I have highlighted the major warnings as I see them from running this game line regularly. How will character creation work

Characters will be created at session zero along with me and the rest of the group to try and connect the characters and to help start integrating them with the story that is being told. If you are joining after the first session I will schedule a time to meet with you for a session zero and hopefully with the other players to help bring you in easier.
