Intro to Vampire: The Masquerade!

About the adventure

Learn to play a horror tabletop game in a safe and inclusive environment! We'll run Vampire: The Masquerade in the edition of your choosing! I'm happy to run 5th edition or 20th Anniversary and can do a one-shot to teach the game, or a more in-depth exploration of the game system. I've been running Vampire since 1999, and have extensive knowledge of the game lore that I can include as much, or as little, as you prefer!

How to prepare

For online games, please have at least a mic. Webcams are preferred but not required. For in-person games we will wear masks until the pandemic is fully over. For both you don't need to know the rules at all, we can learn them in session! Just bring your character, dice (I can also provide dice if needed), a pencil, and anything else you need!

What I provide

I'll bring books, dice, pencils, paper, pre-gens if needed, and PDFs to peruse if I don't own the physical books!

Gameplay details

I will send out the consent form ahead of time so I can review everyone's lines & veils and customize the story to avoid crossing boundaries! Mind control, memory alteration and erasing are part of some of the powers that Vampires can use. If that is a hard line for you, I will make sure it isn't used against your character.

How will character creation work

We can do character creation remotely ahead of the session by going back and forth over Discord or Email OR in an extra 30 minutes at the beginning of the session. I can also provide pre-gen characters if needed for new players!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
