About the adventure
Howdy Y'all! In this game we'll be exploring a mission from the Candlekeep Mysteries adventure with the goal to be completing it in one session. Open to new players and veterans alike! I love helping new players get into the game and understand how the mechanics work as well as navigating D&D Beyond's character creation tool.

Gameplay details
Session Zero prep: Lines & Veils: Each player will have a private discord channel to give me their lines/veils and I will compile and post the final list before the adventure happens (preferably 2 days before). Character Expectations: A willingness to go on adventures & work with other adventurers. Gameplay: Sessions will range from 2 to 4 hours with the expectation of finishing the adventure within that timeframe. Since this is intended as an Intro to D&D there will be low chances of character death, but it could happen. Dice rolling will be handled in D&D Beyond and utilize the Beyond20 extension. Maps will be handled via a VTT such as Owlbear Rodeo/Roll20/Foundry.

How will character creation work
Character creation will happen during Session Zero, you are welcome to roll stats on Discord ahead of time. Character Level will be determined by the adventure but will range from anywhere from level 11 to 16. Have an idea of an advanced build you've always wanted to play but never got the chance? Bring that idea here and let's bring it to life!! Stats will be rolled publicly on Discord using the Avrae bot. Since I feel that adventurers are typically above average people I do 10 + 2d4 for stats. However, if you want to lower your one or more stats to as low as 8 you are welcome to do so.
