About the adventure

This is a game for first time players who want a taste of DND. The goal is to give you an experience that explains the rules in a digestible way, while also preparing you and friends to start running your own campaign. I am happy to work hand in hand with a group to identify a Dungeon Master and get set up for success moving forward.

How to prepare

At the first session everyone should have an idea of what class they want to play, or at least what feels interesting to them. We can talk about class difficulties in session, but it would be nice to know what everyone is thinking. Next I need someone who is identified as the DM to be. As mentioned, this is not a long term campaign I will be running, you guys are going to take it over and I will need to work with someone to get that moving.

What I provide

I will bring the Lost Mine of Phandelver adventure prepped and ready to go. Additionally I will assist you in creating your own Roll20 account with DNDBeyond tie in.

How will character creation work

We will create characters in a group so that everyone gets an appreciation and understanding for the game. I really feel that knowing the "why" is important and my goal is to make you all as self sufficient as quickly as possible. We will likely do a "standard array" system to keep it easy and take out one more complicating factor.
