About the adventure

Welcome to the world of Perdido, a realm populated by those who died with the spark of heroism still within them. Here, they can live out an ageless existence on the surface in relative safety or delve into the dangers of the Shadowdark. Legend says that within the deepest depths lies the Ether Gate, a doorway that leads to a paradise beyond the usual fate of mortals, but only the most hearty of delvers can ever hope to reach it. Will you be the next to step through the gate, or will your bones become another adornment of the Shadowdark's lightless halls?

Additional Details

How to prepare

Players will need a mic, a Discord profile, and a computer with reasonable access to the internet and graphics capacity. The Quickstart Player's Guide will be provided beforehand, but players don't need any prior preparation to begin. We will cover the main mechanics of the game during Session 0.

What I provide

All of the content for the game will be contained within Foundry VTT, which the players can access through a web link when the game is live. Players are welcome to provide portrait artwork for their character, which I will integrate into the game.

Gameplay details

At our Session 0, we will discuss the game mechanics and build characters together, but we will also discuss any safety preferences that players have. Players can privately message me on Discord if they would like to keep their input private. If everyone is excited to play in a classic high fantasy setting of dungeon delving then I don't expect us to encounter any surprising triggering instances. Players can also freely contact me outside of game sessions to offer feedback.

How will character creation work

Games begin at Level 1, starting with Character Creation during Session 0. We will roll dice to determine ability scores, making sure everyone is content with their results before moving on. A balanced party will be encouraged, but not required.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
