About the adventure

In Icewind Dale, adventure is a dish best served cold. Beyond this yawning fissure, the Caves of Hunger await. And past this icy dungeon is a secret so old and terrifying that few dare speak of it. The mad wizards of the Arcane Brotherhood long to possess that which the god of winter’s wrath has so coldly preserved—as do you! What fantastic secrets and treasures are entombed in the sunless heart of the glacier, and what will their discovery mean for the denizens of Icewind Dale? Can you save Ten-Towns from the Frostmaiden’s everlasting night? Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden is a tale of dark terror that revisits the forlorn, flickering candlelights of civilization known as Ten-Towns and sheds light on the many bone-chilling locations that surround these frontier settlements.

How to prepare

- Please have Discord installed with a working Microphone. - Camera is optional. Please contact me in discord before the session to invite you to the game server and prepare material for your character creation.

What I provide

I will be bringing the game software (Foundry), content books for character creation, music, dynamic maps, and a great atmosphere!

Gameplay details

This game follows the original campaign with slight tweaks. We create a safe and welcoming environment for all players. A general warning for violence applies to the campaign including death due to the Fantasy setting.

How will character creation work

Character creation will happen in session 0, where we will discuss also general themes of the campaign, player preferences and any other issue that has to be discussed. As a base, we will use Standard Array.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
