About the adventure

The city of Vaal-Naeor never seems to sleep. As a crossroads hub for adventurers, mercenaries, and merchants, there is always some kind of drama to be had. If only anyone residing in the city could remember any of it. The night of the summer solstice in the year 423 of the third era, something monumental happened that no one can remember. Citizens and travelers alike woke up from their comatose state to a city half destroyed. Buildings damaged or collapsed, the smoldering embers of flames still billowing smoke into the cloudless sky, and an abundance of holes in the ground. What caused such a mess? Why doesn't anyone know what happened? The story will unfold with time, however the culprit might still be among us.

Additional Details

How to prepare

No webcam required, just a mic to talk in discord. Have an idea in your head of your backstory at least, but a written backstory for me to read at session 0 is ideal. Dice rolls will be done through a discord bot.

What I provide

I will be providing the discord server and will be posting pictures of the map used for the game, which you are free to download and keep for yourself.

Gameplay details

At the start of the game, the player characters will have no recent memory. You will at least have knowledge of your identity and information to be able for your character to function, but nothing of the events leading up to where we will begin. You will begin to uncover the events of the previous night as you are tasked to explore the city and look for clues, and potentially find and apprehend the culprit. The motives and actions of your own character leading up to this event will also factor into the regaining of your memories.

How will character creation work

Character levels 15-18 (we can discuss this in session 0). Characters to be created during session 0. Vanilla races and classes are always welcome, but ask me about races/classes from other resources like Volo's Guide, Unearthed Arcana, etc.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
