About the adventure

The game will be a mostly open world adventure set in Hyrule, specifically the Hyrule from the opening of Tears of the Kingdom, in the time between the Upheaval and Link's return. The world had begun to recover from the Calamity, but is now dealing with the chaos caused by the Upheaval You will play heroes of the various races of Hyrule (Gerudo, Goron, Rito, Zora, and Hylian) and adventure through the wonders of the world!

How to prepare

You should grab a copy of the ICON rules PDF from here https://massif-press.itch.io/icon and give it a browse. The setting within the main book can be ignored, we will be using Hyrule as mentioned in the initial description. You will also need to install Discord, since we'll be using that both for in session voice chat and out of session communication (schedulings, rulings questions, general banter, etc)

What I provide

I will be bringing a foundry server on which I am setting up all the macros we will need to run ICON, as well as years of experience GMing in general and several months of running ICON specifically.

How will character creation work

We will create characters during session 0, as a cooperative group. They will be built in Foundry, where I am setting up a custom set of ICON macros to help make the game run more smoothly

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
