About the adventure

Imagine, if you will, a realm devoted to ice and darkness beyond twilight. One where the horrors that go bump in the night could easily be your fellow man. A land that needs heroes, those who might give it warmth and sunlight of high noon. That's what Icewind Dale Rime of the Frostmaiden is all about. To take part, please make it to session 0, which will allow you to create your characters directly for the game. I personally will not be allowing homebrew or anything that doesn't fit within the Forgotten Realms, though you'll need to ask me if any of the rule books for character creation will be used. When this campaign gets off the ground, expect sessions to last a minimum of three hours.

Additional Details

How to prepare

I implore players to have a working microphone, so that they can RP in the voice chat of the appropriate Discord server. I don't necessarily require that they read the rules in advance, but it won't hurt to know how to play the game.

What I provide

As this is being played on Discord, I have a dice bot on the server we'll be playing on. I'm also providing interactive character sheets that you can use to make your characters with.

Gameplay details

This game contains material appropriate for a PG-13 movie, with safety tools allowed to help players stay within the boundaries of such a movie. Also, this game will not contain F-bombs if we can help it.

How will character creation work

I expect the characters to be at Level 1, and I don't expect the players to create them beforehand. In fact, I encourage them to come to the Discord Server I'll be running this in to make their characters with my help.
