About the adventure

Adventures! We beseech you! A great and terrible entity from the Farm Realms seeks to enter the mortal plane. Its sick and malicious cultists gather in droves to beckon Its return. Will you go with a small group that was hand picked by our priests, given our great God Helm's blessing, and infiltrate the cultists' meeting and find out how to banish this being back to the Far Realms? Or will you allow yourself to fall to Its temptations and ludicrous promises of power beyond reckoning? Will you survive five days worth of: - 🥵 Hot NPC cultists that also seek to become the vessel for The Great Old One? - 🫣 Temptations that pull you from the path of the Temple? - 🐙 The mortal visage of The Great Old One Themselves? - 🏃🏽‍♀️ A series of challenges and events that will show you who your true friends are, and who are waiting to throw you into the maw of a monster all to save the Mortal Realm? How to prepare

Players must have: -Working Web cam -Working microphone -A Discord -A free DnD Beyond account -Dice will be rolled on DnD Beyond so physical dice are not necessary

The DM will provide: -Discord link to private game channel and voice channel. -Link to DnD Beyond campaign for character creation.

Gameplay details

Players can expect: - A fun horror story about our mortality when compared to that of an Eldritch Horror - Some tackling of Religious Trauma - Anonymous Editable Lines and Veils Document - Session 0 to make sure that any triggering topics are covered so we can explore boundaries without crossing them - X or Red cards on video call and in game chat - Frequent check-ins during and after game as well as open door policy always enforced

How will character creation work

- Players will make characters that are level 7, rolling for stats 4d6 drop the lowest. - Players can use anything that is available on DnD Beyond for race, class, and background for character creation. - All characters will be added to the DnD Beyond campaign link provided by the DM. - Players can have characters already made before session 0 or wait til session 0 to make characters. - Players can give their characters two (2) rare and one (1) uncommon magic items. - Players must have at least three sentences to a paragraph (they are welcome to have more) of character backstory on how they either joined the Temple of Helm or snuck into the temple to join the group to get to the Great Old One by the end of session 0.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
