Houses of the Blooded 101: Ven nobility, Orc and life in Shanri.
Homebrew Game on Discord, Roll20
About the adventure
Hi! This is a quick tutorial one shot campaign for houses of the blooded, a game created by john wick (not the keanu reeves character but i won't stop you from believing that man live those dreams). it's a very role play driven setting where you play one of the blooded of the ven, a noble of a race of powerful magical cutthroats that ruled the world when mankind was still trying to figure out cave drawings and fire. ven are ruthless, passionate people with a doomed fate and a relentless ambition. your powers as a ven noble are vast and terrible, as is your wrath once invoked. learn the ins and outs of ven law, and how to exploit them to watch your rivals suffer under your tailored heel while you legally steal everything they own and love. how a whispered lie (or even more damning, the *truth*) can be just as deadly as razor sharp steel. just remember, a ven never forgets. the dagger is always looking for your back...
How to prepare
i'll need you to have a discord account or roll20, i'd prefer both. character creation will be done in person unless you've already got a character ready to go. a microphone is necessary for this so we can communicate easily.
What I provide
i'll be bringing character sheets, dice bots, the book itself and a music bot that will add atmosphere while we play.
gamplay is a d6 system that is very narratively driven by you, the player. if we do everything right and you guys don't miss a trick, this game ends up needing me as a referee, not a dm. it's very similar to fate system if you're familiar with it, using aspects to develop your character.

How will character creation work
pregens will be provided if you just want to drop in but i feel it's better if you create your own characters from scratch and i would be delighted to help you with that! if you've played houses of the blooded already you're welcome in import an existing character so long as i give it a look over.
