About the adventure

The discovery of a new world thirty years ago has changed the continent of Dacros, as rumors of paradise draw people to take the dangerous voyage and start a new life there. Meanwhile, the capital city of Dacros, Saint Peludris, suffers from a wave of crime as new organizations have begun to surface and terrorize citizens. You have arrived at the city of Saint Peludris and begun to make a name for yourself, either by working for a criminal organization, or working for the church. But the new world of Yishusu begins to beckon you in your dreams. Your fate lies there, and the long journey is imminent. What secrets does this new world hold? Welcome to Horror at Yishusu Landing, a cosmic horror (sometimes called Lovecraftian Horror) campaign for Pathfinder 2e. This campaign will take your character from level 1 to level 20 as you face an epic journey of horror and wonder. This campaign has many themes of horror that some may find disturbing, including descriptive gore and madness, and may not be suitable for some players. The themes presented in the campaign are intended for mature players, and are not suitable for children. A session zero will be held before the campaign begins and discussions about the theme and characters will be held. I have many additional resources that I will share with you during session zero.

Additional Details

How to prepare

You do not need a webcam and you don't need to install software other than Discord. Sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and improvement. The character creation tools and tabletop are all web-based, but a PC or Mac are required (tablets and mobile devices may not work properly).

I am providing everything you need. The virtual tabletop is web-based and does not require you to create an account.

Gameplay details

Session 0 will be a discussion of cosmic horror tropes and themes as well as how player characters fit into the campaign.

How will character creation work

Characters begin at level 1 and the campaign takes PCs to level 20. Session 0 will address available options. It is recommended you wait until after session zero before you begin to plan your character.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
