About the adventure

🎃 Halloween event! 👀 Creepy things happening in Devil's Run 5️⃣ Level 5 characters The small farming village of Devil’s Run is about to have its yearly pumpkin festival. Unbeknownst to many, Old Pete Barker, a pumpkin farmer of many years, was having difficulty growing his pumpkins. Pete doesn’t have an ample water source, unlike Molly Simms, his primary rival for the coveted largest pumpkin award. Old Pete, fixated on winning the grand prize, made a deal with a dark force. As we know, deals with dark forces are seldom good, and Pete Barker’s deal ended up costing him and the village dearly. About the Game This is a paid one-shot adventure (a stand-alone game) so there’s no Session 0 or game prep session, but we will cover safety tools. Level 5 characters. Pre-generated characters all ready to go in game if you’d like. Hosted on Roll20. Audio on Discord. Experienced or new players welcome. Weekly 3-hour D&D 5e game sessions on Roll20 using official campaign materials, 3D dice rolling, Dynamic Lighting (revealing maps as you explore), sourcebook/compendium sharing and scripts which automate manual tasks. Additional Details

How to prepare

Computer and Internet required. High speed internet will make for a more enjoyable experience. Mic and headphones required (speakers cause echo). Set up free accounts on Roll20 and Discord. Recommend Chrome or Firefox browser. Install Discord app on computer. Join Ajax D&D server. Install Beyond20 app in browser if using D&D Beyond character sheet. Grant permission for audio (and video, if desired) in Roll20 with your browser if you wish to hear audio in game.

What I provide

Ajax DM uses official D&D 5e campaign materials supplemented with additional maps, licensed music and sound effects, 3D dice rolling, Dynamic Lighting (revealing maps as you explore), scripts to automate manual tasks, purchased tokens, sourcebook/compendium sharing in Roll20. We use Discord for audio and each group gets its own channels to talk between games.

How will character creation work

Characters are Level 5. Characters are all ready to go. Pick the one you'd like, change their name, and jump in! You may also create a character in Roll20 which fits the character guidelines in the Roll20 game forum (landing page for the game, scroll down to see the forum). Important: make sure it's completed before the game starts and the DM has had an opportunity to review it and set up a token prior to session start. At session start, uncompleted/unreviewed characters will be abandoned and a pre-made character can be selected.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
