About the adventure

Want to play a Dungeons and Dragons adventure as the hero characters from the movie Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves? This is your chance. We'll use the NPC stat blocks created by WOTC to play a sequel adventure to the movie. Doric's leader is kidnapped and taken through a portal to the Shadowfell. The Shadowfell's influence begins to corrupt the Emerald Enclave's estate. Heroes are needed to rescue the warden and close the portal. Are you the heroes for the job? The characters from the movie are fairly high level, and the NPC statblock we'll be using for pregens is not for beginner gamers. If you have a couple games under your belt and want to play a higher level game using the movie characters, this is your game!

How to prepare

Watch Honor Among Thieves. Play Dungeons and Dragons while listening to Led Zepplin. Get psyched up for a high octane adventure. You can use your own dice if you wish. I have a nice set of metal dice and a Wyrmwood dice tray, so I'll roll with actual dice. You can use the roll20 dice if you wish. Because we're using roll20 npc statblocks and not a full character it isn't as easy as a single button pushed to roll for everything. This is a good time to use your actual dice.

What I provide

I will provide NPC statblocks on roll20 for the Honor Among Thieves heroes. I'll bring the adventure, music, sound effects and a fun story. You guys bring excitement to tell this story and have fun. The rest will take care of itself.

Gameplay details

I believe in the Sly Flourish x-card. If things in the game or caused by a player triggers you, please call for the game to be paused. Say, "Pause the game." We will stop, regroup and continue when everyone feels safe.

How will character creation work

Pregens created from the NPC statblocks for the heroes of Honor Among Thieves will be made available in the Roll20 Journal. The roll20 form for NPC statblocks is a little wonky, so take a moment to review it before the game.

Players can expect
